The game will now begin at 1.30pm local time [11pm IST], instead of the originally scheduled 10.30am local time [8pm IST].
After a resounding victory in the opening match, which was played at Tarouba, India leads the five-match series 1-0.
India scored 190 for 6 when they were asked to bat in that match, led by skipper Rohit Sharma's 64 in 44 balls at the top of the order and Dinesh Karthik's 19-ball 41 not out to conclude the innings. After that, all six of the Indian bowlers used limited West Indies to 122 for 8 while averaging 6.50 runs per over or less. Each of Arshdeep Singh, R Ashwin, and Ravi Bishnoi secured two wickets.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the seasoned head of the Indian speed attack, reflected on the performance and stated, "If you look at our score, it was quite a good one. After inspecting the pitch, we did not
anticipate that many runs. However, DK [Karthikbatting ]'s performance in helping us reach that total provided us a lot of assurance that we had the runs to defend.
The action will switch to the United States for the last two games, which will be held in Lauderhill, Florida, following the second and third games, both of which will be held in Basseterre.
